To say last week was busy is an understatement!
First day back to work after a week long vacation. 300+ emails to catch up on, meetings and M’s ABA session at my mom’s house.
Still catching up on those emails! Plus more meetings and M had a new doctor’s appointment – does she need AFOs? (no ABA today)
M was a little shy during this doctor appointment
But … The doctor’s appointment went WONDERFULLY! Dr. F. stated he doesn’t get to say this often, but “Your child looks wonderful!” … spine was nice and straight, she did wonderful walking and she sat so nice and straight while he was examining her. Follow-up in a year to make sure everything is all on track!
Emails (they are my work life I think), 4 training sessions at work and M had a neurology appointment!
By now, M is an old pro at Neuro appointments! She made herself comfy for the wait and had fun throwing her cup on the ground to get a reaction out of me!
Migraines seem to have abated … and we are being seen by multiple other doctors, so we do not have to go back to Neuro for 9 months!! I will need to call later to schedule as the calendar does not go out that far.
Got up for an early morning call only to have it cancelled 3 minutes after it was supposed to start. More training / meetings. And then off to M’s post-op followup for her strabismus surgery. Rush home for ABA session.
Look at those beautiful eyes! They are all lined up right now. We still need to monitor to make sure the muscles that were moved do not start to overpower the other muscles again. Followup: August 2017!
OMG … I made it! well, after the morning meetings, DCF visit with my home finder (she makes sure I am still sane), the social worker was then 1:15 min LATE for her meeting, so she came during our ABA session.
I am not even sure what I did on Saturday! I just remember I was not home!
Play date for M at the playground … run to BJs for shopping with my mom … run out to my daughter’s to help her with grocery shopping … run home to feed M, bathe and off to bed!
